UPDATED: 3/18/2020: To Our Loyal Fans and Community of Friends,
Concerns associated with the novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 are a top priority for us at Fifty-Third Winery and Vineyard. The situation is very fluid and we take our customers and employees safety and health very seriously and continue to monitor the situation closely.
With Virginia now in a State of Emergency and bans on groups of 100 or more (although the CDC reduced that to 50 and the White House recommended 10 or more), we have decided the right thing to do is to close our tasting room and sell only bottles of wine with curbside pickup. We will be open Friday through Monday 12-5pm through the end of March. We will post our April hours once we get clearer guidance from Federal and State authorities.
As a reminder…
- All staff who feel sick are requested to stay home until they are better or out of the incubation period and we ask our customers to do the same.
- Handshakes, hugs and highfives with guests will be replaced with a hearty welcome and cheers!
- Our March 21st Wine Club Day is cancelled but wine club kits will be held until members feel comfortable visiting us to pick them up.
- In the meantime, you can order via phone (540-894-5474), order on our website or email us at email@example.com and we will have the wine ready for your pickup. Just let us know when you will be by.
When we do re-open, we look forward to welcoming you back and raising our glasses in a loud Cheers!
Please take care of yourself and your family and we look forward to seeing you again once this situation passes.
David and Susan
